I have known Nick Shlitter General Contractor, for about ten years now. During that time Mr. Shitter’s construction company, Advent Construction and its team of craftsmen and Sub Contractors have successfully completed three large custom remodeling projects for my family. I was completely satisfied with the entire process from start to finish on each of the projects. Being a Striping Contractor, I was impressed with Mr. Shlitters  knowledge as well as the time and effort that his entire team took in making sure that all our special needs were meet on a daily biases during the project. All three projects were completed on time and on budget. The only overages that we had on any of the three projects were caused directly by me requesting up grade changes. Nick was great about implementing each of our change requests and was very fare on how much mine and my wife’s last minute requests would cost. I would highly recommend Nick Shlitter and his team to anyone looking to hire a quality general contractor to work on their home.

I was a fifty-year-old widowed woman, who had no prior construction experience, when I first meet Mr. Nick Shlitter General Contractor.  I was looking to hire a General Contractor to do an extensive remodeling project to my new home that I had just purchased. I wanted to find a contractor that would have my better interest at heart instead of just his profit.  After meeting and spending time describing what I had in mind and my expectations with four different respected General Contractors. I choose Nick Shlitter and his company Advent Construction, to work with me on my project. Mr. Shlitter took the time to explain and made sure that I fully understood what I was getting. During the past four years, Advent Construction has successfully completed two major remodeling projects on my home. The first was a complete custom kitchen remodel that went so well and we were so happy and proud with our new kitchen. That when I decided to convert our unfinished basement in to a custom Man Cave / Game Room. I did not hesitate to hire Nick Shlitter General Contractor and his team of professionals to do the project. I have had other remodeling projects done in the past, which turned into nothing but a headache from start to finish. Advent Construction on both of our project took the time to   make sure that they understood and clearly documented what Finish products I was getting on each of the projects. Advent Construction completed both projects in a timely like professional manner for the price that we had agreed on.  I never had to call Advent Construction to find out why no one had been at the project for days, as I have had to do with other companies I hired in the past. I wish that I had been able find Advent Construction back then. Having your home turned into a construction site can become a hard thing to deal with after a hard day at work. Nick Shlitter and his team did a great job of minimizing the impact to me and the rest of my family on a daily bases. I cannot tell you how much my family and I appreciated their efforts. If you want your project to go as planned and you want the finish project to come out as you had expected, with as little impact to your normal home life as possible.
